1/2 December 1940: The London Underground on this day 75 years ago
Eighty-sixth day of the London Blitz.
High Explosive bomb in the vicinity of Bow Road station at 19:15 on the 1st broke windows in the ticket hall and signal box, and caused other minor damage. Services suspended for ten minutes for examination of track.[1]
