Mind that window! What window? Thud!

A bit of commotion in our office in Waterloo today, when this chap managed to fly into one of the windows (12:20 BST), while being mobbed by a bunch of crows:

Anyone know what it is? He was stunned for a bit, but did eventually fly off, just as one of my colleagues was on the phone to the RSPCA!

Could be a Honey Buzzard. They're not uncommon in the area and the tail barring in your photo suggests this is what it is.

Great pic.

Someone else suggested a honey buzzard. The tail markings should be clearer in the second photo I've just added.

Nick, that's incredible. They are actually very rare in the London area.

Could you email me at nazemark@yahoo.com with more details of what happened?
