9/10 January 1941: The London Underground on this day 75 years ago

One hundred and twenty-fifth day of the London Blitz.

At 23:20 Incendiary Bombs (IBs) slightly damaged the roof of the Wood Lane sub-station. At 23:31 approximately fifty IBs fell on the track and within the Wood Lane Depot.[1]

Hammersmith & City line services between Goldhawk Road and Shepherds Bush suspended from 23:21 to 23:34, and from 23:40 to 00:00, due to IBs on the track.[2]

At 08:00 on the 10th, the following working conditions were reported:
